This group administers the Chicagoland Roofing Council Advancement and Research Fund. The Fund uses the hourly contributions for activities that promote the use of CRC Contractor firms and their labor force.

The Apprenticeship and Training fund operates the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers, Local 11 state of the art roofing and waterproofing education facility, the nation’s largest.

LABOR RELATIONS TASK TEAM

The Labor Relations Task Team is charged with negotiations on behalf of Chicagoland Roofing Council Contractor firms with the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers, Local 11 leadership. The group meets as needed, with significant time invested during periods of contract negotiations.

JOINT GRIEVANCE BOARD

The Joint Grievance Board, resolves disputes between workers and the management of Chicagoland Roofing Council firms and the workforce. Members include the Labor Committee and the Union Representatives.

UNION OF ROOFERS, WATERPROOFERS AND ALLIED WORKERS LOCAL NO. 11 ROOFERS’ UNION / CHICAGOLAND ROOFING COUNCIL JOINT SAFETY COMMITTEE

This group of volunteers from the management is appointed by the CRCA President. The group works closely with OSHA at a local and national level to further safety in the Roofing and Waterproofing industry.
